It's a good start, though I feel like some of the notes are a bit random, though that much is just my first listen. What does throw me off for sure is that 30 to 38 seconds in is the first of a few occurences in which it sounds like a different tempo/rhythm than the rest.
Still, the mood is overall fitting for the title.

Starts as if it was cut off a bit, but what can be heard is great. Love that snare drum in particular.
I'm happy to say in my view that the genre isn't a fit: not big on rap/hip-hop at all. Sounds nice, especially the synthesized marimba and sax.
Admittedly saw you uploaded something today after the fact. Anyway, high synth seems a bit all over the place, but the instrumentation is good.
